“I love blogging. I started blogging when I was in college. Started out in Multiply. Had no idea how to set up websites back then.

Soon after, my brother learned how to purchase sites and unpack WordPress blogs. So I started to explore the world of blogging by August of 2009.

Since then God has blessed me so much! He has blessed me with great readers, lots of new friends I’ve met online, lots of amazing experiences and wisdom that I write about – and by God’s grace, lots more to come!

I praise God for this blog. It has changed my life. And God has used it as a means to let me change the lives of people around the world. All praise and Glory be to Him!”

How this Blog Started

It was my passion to write ever since I can remember. I would write on notebooks, sheets of yellow paper – anything. I’d write about fantasy fiction, love stories, God, anything that the moment has whisked my way. The pen and paper felt so good and right on my hands. It is something that I would do even if no one paid me to do it.

I figured that blogging, though not on pen and paper, was an awesome way to get my writings out to the world. I dreamed of being a blogger. I wanted people to read my stuff no matter how good or bad I think it is. I wanted people to comment on what I wrote. I wanted my writings to become alive by involving readers around the world.

Me and my brother fooling around

When my brother taught me how to build my first self-hosted WordPress blog, I did not let another moment slip away. I had my last 2,000 pesos but I wanted to give it up to the Lord. I just wanted to write for God. So I bought a domain name and hosting (around 1,300 pesos I believe). I started studying, working, testing – all to get my blog up with a working theme. It was the short, quick bursts of light about my dream of being a blogger that kept me going.

At first, I didn’t understand too much of the code because I didn’t pay attention to class in school (I’m an IT graduate but I wasn’t really a good student) but I kept on Google-ing the things that were foreign to me and tried to understand it. Sooner than later, all the things that I skipped at school made sense – only I got to learn them in my own way.

The blog grew and the traffic increased. I’m amazed at how the Lord has used this blog to bless and inspire many. I would meet people in places and they would smile and tell me they know me. They would tell me how the blog has blessed them. It gives me exceeding joy.

Graduation

I finally graduated after tons of failing marks!

This is still my personal blog but I want to keep the topics here about the Lord because that’s what it has come to be known for. Please do excuse me if I still do post personal stuffs or songs here – I am a writer like that.

How the Blog Blessed me

I want to tell you that more than all the people that the blog has blessed, it has blessed me the most. This blog brought me great joy and opened my eyes to the reality of the Word of the Lord. I apply God’s Word to my writings. Sometimes when I write an article that is too shallow or too irrelevant for me, I’m amazed at how many people will comment or message me about it telling me that they were blessed. It’s amazing how God works.

My lovely Fiancee

The blog opened up the first conversation I had with my fiancee. I didn’t know if she enjoyed it, but I sure did. We talked about apologetics, blogging, faith – and stuff I wrote here.

This blog has also allowed me to test out Search Engine Optimization (SEO) which is my practice and my business. I tested out the first theories that I’ve read about in SEO to this blog. I got it to PageRank 3 then to PageRank 4 then I thought to myself “Hey,  I can do this.”

Sooner than I expected, God brought my first client my way and I did SEO for them. It was my first gig. Looking back, really, everything was orchestrated by the Lord. Then more clients came my way until I hired my first in-house team November 2011.

God has blessed the business and we are now a team of 17 strong and we have catered to a good number of popular brands around the globe. Our SEO services has never failed and we have an awesome number of satisfied clients. We still have a long way to go in business but we’ll get there step by step, prayer by prayer.
